EDCO to Observe the Christmas and New Year Holidays

On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and Tuesday, December 31, 2024, all customer service offices and public disposal sites will close early at 4 p.m.

In observance of the upcoming Christmas holiday on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and the New Year holiday on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, EDCO will not be performing any collection services. All recycling buyback centers, public disposal sites, and customer service offices will be closed. Residential and commercial collection services will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week following each holiday.

On Saturday, December 28th, and Saturday, January 4th, all customer service call centers will have extended phone hours and will close at 4 p.m.

EDCO also wants to remind its customers to recycle during the holiday season. Paper gift wrap, gift boxes, greeting cards, cardboard and glass, metal and plastic beverage containers can all be recycled in their blue recycling containers. Food scraps, Christmas trees, fresh wreaths and garlands, and cut flowers can also be recycled.
